  1. I just bought the new SSD T7 ( 2 T storage) for back up. Works great. I however forgot my password. How do I reset it or find it ? There is no option on the window that pops up when I got to run it. Just offers to type in the password to Unlock it.

    Please advise

    • If you lose your password, you need to perform a factory reset at a Service Center in order to use the T7 Touch. Since restoring the T7 Touch to its factory settings will clear all data stored on it, it is recommended that you back up any important data you do not wish to lose in advance.

You can try to reset your SSD using cmd prompt in your PC.
Connect the SSD to your PC.
Right-click on the Windows icon and select “Run as administrator.”
Type “diskpart” in the command line and press “Enter.”
Type the following format command lines in DiskPart and hit “Enter” every time to quickly format the hard drive.

      • List disk
      • Select disk 2 (replace 2 with your disk number, make sure you select the External HDD/SSD)
      • Type List volume
      • Select volume 10 (replace 10 with your disk volume number)
      • Format fs=ntfs quick
