Android 13 by Google

Android 13 was first announced on 10 Feb 2022 by Google and its beta1 version was first released on 26 Apr 2022 for Pixel 4, Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 smartphones.

Google has planned to release Android 13 beta to stable version in a phase manner. If Android 13 development process goes normal and according to the plan then we can see Android 13 stable version in Sep 2022 for all smartphone brands.

Other than Android 13 beta1 version Google has planned three more beta versions to be released in May, June and July. According to Google Android 13 platform stability will be reached in June, with Beta 3. The final release of Android 13 will start in September 2022.

Android 13 update for Samsung phones

We have already explained the Android 13 development plan by Google. Similarly the Android 13 update customized by One UI 5 for Samsung phones will be in parallel with Google’s Android 13 plan.

Samsung is also working on its One UI 5 Update based on Android 13 by Google. And according to the plan Samsung will also launch its stable version in Sep 2022.

So you may have to wait to get Android 13 update to reach to your Samsung phone through OTA till the starting of Q4 of this year 2022.

Samsung will launch Android 13 update for its smartphones in phase manner and newly launched Galaxy phones will get it in this year only and older Samsung phones may get it up to Q1 – Q2 in next year 2022.
