You can still login to your Samsung account because Samsung has provided 3 methods other than SMS for verification and you can use any of these.
- Sign in to your Samsung account with your ID and password.
- Select one of the verification methods you’ve set up for your account.
- Text message: Click Send code, then enter the verification code we send to your phone.
- Authenticator app: Click Send code, then enter the verification code we send to your phone.
- Galaxy device notification: Click Send code, then enter the verification code we send to your Samsung phone or tablet.
- Backup code: Enter one of the backup codes generated when you turned on two-step verification.
- Click Verify to finish signing into your account.
Samsung account 2 step verification backup codes
Using backup codes to sign-in into your Samsung account is a good way. First of all, find out the backup codes you have already downloaded during 2 steps verification setup process.
- Sign in to your Samsung account with your ID and password.
- Select backup code verification method.
- Enter one of the backup codes generated when you turned on two-step verification.
- Click Verify to finish signing into your account.
- You have successfully login to your account.
Note: One backup code can be used only one time. Next time you need to use the other backup code. If you have already used all of your backup codes, then try to generate new backup codes and save them at a safe and accessible place.
