In this article, we have carried out a Samsung F54 battery drain test until the battery becomes dead. We spent a lot of time draining the battery but it was the F54 battery that was not becoming dead after doing huge efforts.
So you can imagine the battery backup capability of the Samsung Galaxy F54. It doesn’t just offer a simple battery but it does offer a massive 6000mAh power bank. Yes, guys, it is quite surprising that Samsung F54 has a huge 6000mAh battery and weight under 200 gms.
Samsung Galaxy F54 has so many other noticeable features but here we have not included all of those features because this article is related to Galaxy F54 Battery drain test only.
Samsung F54 was launched on 06 Jun 2023 across the world. It looks like as value for money option at this price range. This smartphone is doing well in the design, display, battery, camera, update and date security departments.
However, it may not be proven a better device for gaming and video editing but still, you can play heavy games and can also do video editing too on this smartphone. As there are other smartphones from different brand that offers good processors at this price range.
Samsung Galaxy F54 Battery
Samsung F54 supports a 6000mAh massive battery which can provide you with 2 days of long battery backup depending on your usage pattern. It is really very hard to drain the Galaxy F54 battery in a single day as you need to put some extra effort to drain its battery in a single day.
In our battery stress tests, Samsung Gaalxy F54 has provided ON Screen battery backup of 9 hours, and 33 minutes. Literally, we were fed up while doing the battery stress test with the F54 battery as 9 Hours and 33 minutes is really a huge battery backup for any Android smartphone while doing heavy tasks.

Samsung F54 Battery drain test
Here we have carried out Samsung Galaxy F54 Battery drain test with full stress. We have tried a lot of things on F54 to test its battery backup in stress. In normal day to day uses it gives you 2 days of battery backup.
So we have check F54 battery battery stress test while continuously keeping the screen ON. We have not given a single minute break to the screen so that we can calculate the complete ON screen battery stress test for Galaxy F54.
You can see clearly in the screenshot shown above that 29% of battery is still remaining after on screen continuously usage of 9 hours and 50 minutes. You can clearly see the off screen time 0 that means the smartphone was used continuously used for 9 hours 50 minutes without giving it a single minute of break.
It recorded video in FHD for 9 hour and 50 minutes continuously and it is really a nice battery backup because camera app drains the smartphone battery very fast.
We have carried out the 6000mAh battery drain test because generally we see 5000mAh battery in smartphones, so we wanted to know the difference between the battery backup of an Android phone when the battery capacity is increased by 1000mAh.
And guys, Samsung F54 battery drain test results have surprised us. So let us dive into what we have noticed while doing the battery drain test of the device.
Samsung F54 Battery test results
We have charged the Samsung F54 to 100% and started our testing. Here we have tried different ways to test the F54 battery. We also have checked its battery while on normal usage as well as heavy usage.
Normal battery drain test
Played YouTube for 2Hrs: We have played YouTube Videos in Samsung F54 in HDR for 2 hours at full brightness. And after two hours of YouTube video playback in HDR with full brightness the battery percentage dropped by 11% and the it is still showing 89% of battery remaining in the smartphones.
Played YouTube shorts for 1 hr: After two hours of YouTube playback in HDR mode we played YouTube shorts for 1 hr to test how much battery drain if we watch YouTube shorts for 1hr in Samsung F54. Here we have noticed that battery drained by 9% in one hour of YouTube shorts playback. Now our smartphone battery is remaining 80%.
It is clear that YouTube shorts consume approximately twice of battery as compared to YouTube long videos even when played in HDR mode.
And you can now notice that after playing 3 hours of videos in Samsung F54 its battery has drained by 20% only. So you can think that Galaxy F54 will drain less than 20% battery while watching a full movie on any OTT platform in HDR mode. And it will consume even less power if you play already downloaded video in your phone.
Heavy battery drain tests
We have already tested Samsung F54 battery in normal usage now its time to test it on heavy usage. So let us check how fast F54 battery drains while doing heavy battery drain tests.
Antutu benchmark test: We have tested AnTutu benchmark Android app in the smartphone and it took approximately 11 minutes and the battery drained by 3%.
Geekbench Benchmark test: Immediately after the Antutu benchmark we have tested Geekbench benchmark, it took approximately 8 minutes and the battery was dropped with 2%.
Samsung F54 Battery drain test
And we have again ran the Geekbench Benchmark app and the battery was again dropped by 2%. So it was clear that battery was draining consistently in a fixed proportion and this result was really good.
Now the battery percentage of the Samsung F54 has dropped to 70% after doing both of these Benchmarks multiple times.
Aggressive battery drain tests
We have already tested normal and heavy battery drain tested for a long time, now it was time to go for aggressive battery drain tests. After that we have run 3DMARK stress test which takes 25 minutes to complete.
First test of 3DMARK stress test took 25 minutes and smartphone battery was dropped by 5% and we again run the same test for more 25 minutes and the results were really awesome, the second test also dropped the battery by 5%.
And after the testing of 4 hours and 30 minutes the battery was still remaining 60% in the Samsung F54. It generally not happen in case of Android smartphones so it is really appreciated and Galaxy F54 is going good in terms of battery backup.
Real Gaming test
After the above testings we again tried real life usages for smartphone battery testing. After playing the BGMI game for 2 hours the smartphone battery was dropped by 23%.
And after total testing for 6 hours and 30 minutes including normal, heavy, aggressive and real life testings the Samsung F54 battery was remaining by 37%.
YouTube video test
We again played YouTube video in the smartphone for 1 hours and the battery percentage dropped by 10%, now the smartphone had left with 27% battery. Here we can see the difference that now battery has started draining fast than it was draining in the beginning of the test.
In the starting of the test Samsung F54 consumed 11% battery for YouTube video playback for 2 hours but now its consumed battery by 10% for 1 hr YouTube video playback in HDR mode with full brightness.
It has passed 7 hours and 30 minutes and the battery is still remaining 27%. After that we played YouTube shorts for 1 hr and it consumed battery by 9%.
After 8 hours 32 minutes of continuous on screen usage of F54 its battery is remaining with 18%.
Antutu benchmark
We again ran AnTuTu benchmarks two times and the battery dropped by 8% after running both of the benchmarks. Now the total battery percentage is remaining 10% after total usage of 9 hours and 30 minutes.
3DMARK test
We again run 3DMARK test that takes 25 minutes to complete but the battery was dead at 9 hours 33 minutes. Means, it took only 3 minutes to complete drain the 10% of battery by 3DMARK test.
Samsung F54 Battery test table
We have created a table that we have observed during the Samsung F54 battery drain test. During the battery drain test smartphone display was full time ON at high brightness. And most of the times the display brightness was at its full.

You can clearly see that Samsung F54 took 9 Hrs 33min to completely switch off and this is really a good show by this smartphone.
Samsung F54 battery backup
Samsung claims that F54 gives 2 days of battery backup on normal day to day usage. And we have also observed that it can give you almost 2days of battery backup if you use it for normal calling and internet surfing only.
If you do heavy multitasking, gaming, watching videos, capturing photos, recording videos, editing videos and more then it will give you 1 day battery backup. Becuase generally no one use smartphones more than 9 hours continuously at full brightness.
Normaly people use smartphones at normal or automatic brightness and use smartphones after short intervals of times so you smartphone will also get rest in between in normal day to day usage.
If you even use your smartphone heavily even then it will give you a battery backup of about 1day and for people who use smartphone for normal purposes like surfing internet and watching videos for few hours everyday then it can give a battery backup up to 2 days.
Samsung F54 battery size in mAh
Samsung F54 battery has a huge battery capacity of 6,000mAh. This battery is sufficient to last long for 2 days for normal usage depending on your usage habits.
No doubt Samsung F54 has good battery backup and it also has performed well on our Battery drain test. It has survived our heavy battery drain test for 9 hrs and 34 minutes. This is really a long time for any Android smartphone.
We really appreciate Samsung efforts to bring this smartphone in the market and guys when you take this smartphone in your hands then it will not feel bulky or heavy because Samsung has distributed its weight evenly across the entire body of the smartphone.
